Зоонимические инвективы в польской и русской фразеологии. Сравнительный анализ

Increasing usage of colloquial expressions and growing presence of invectives in language of media, politics and journalism is an active linguistic process of the beginning of 21th century. This phenomenon correlates not only with linguistics but with sociology as well, that is why it should be considered from sociolinguistic perspective. The area of conflictology in language raises in recent years and presents big interest in linguistic researches, however there is lack of synthetic research based on Polish and Russian phraseology, which makes topic of this article reasonable to explore. This article characterizes zoonyms which have a meaning of invective in Polish and Russian phraseology. The comparative analysis shows differences referring to Polish and Russian linguistic visions of the world. It also describes the research made to verify the relevance of idioms in modern language as compared to the meanings of idioms codified in phraseological dictionaries in traditional meanings.
